River Link Donkey and Animal Sanctuary is a dedicated not-for-profit organisation that rescues donkeys, horses, and other animals in need-providing them not only with lifelong sanctuary but also a renewed purpose. These animals, many of whom have experienced trauma or neglect, become part of a deeply therapeutic environment that supports vulnerable individuals across a wide range of communities. Marion Thompson, the sanctuary founder and the volunteers at the sanctuary work tirelessly to enable the upkeep of the animals that require a lot of looking after, ie hay, straw, vet bills, land rental, fencing, stables etc etc. Why does Marion do it? Slogging her backside off everyday? She does it because she 'CARES' she cares about the animals that are destined for the abattoir in this country and abroad. River Link now provides a safe, loving and carefree environment for these beautiful animals to live out the rest of their days feeling cherished and happy.
